Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Florida Keys Community College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Florida Keys Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida residents paid $3,276 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 301.8 percent more than residents this year, or $13,162. Their price tag was unchanged from $13,162 in 2017-18.

About 89 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Florida residents. And about 7 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 68 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 79 students received grants or scholarships totaling $398,396 and 34 students took out student loans totaling more than $180,323.

Including all undergraduates (862), 384 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.8 million, and 169 students took out $1.1 million in federal student loans.
