City of Key West issued the following announcement on Aug. 2.
Key West’s parking department has been working towards making motorists’ lives easier, and now you can purchase parking permits online. In just a couple of clicks from the City’s home page, you can apply for a variety of parking permits available. Just go to our homepage and click on the City Departments. From there, choose the parking department’s link to purchasing a permit.
This is just latest in an ongoing effort to streamline all aspects of parking for residents and visitors alike. With our new Passport system, you can pay for metered parking with your smart phone. You can even pay parking tickets online or with your phone. There is even a way to appeal a ticket online.
The Passport app is available for both IOS and Android, just go to your app store.
