Eight Schools Achieve PBIS Status

Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) is a researched-based program that promotes positive behavior and recognizes those students who display it everyday. It also provides supports to students to help them be successful in their daily interactions with students and teachers, in turn, supporting them for academic success. PBIS has been instituted in our schools for many years and we are proud to acknowledge those school who have achieved a recognized leveled status due to the integrity of implementation of the program.

Congratulations to the PBIS teams of:

Platinum Status: Plantation Key School; Sugarloaf School; Poinciana Elementary; Stanley Switlik Elementary

Gold Status: Coral Shores High School

Silver Status: Gerald Adams Elementary; Key Largo School; Horace O'Bryant School
