Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 28th district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing political and economic issues concerning Mexico. Gimenez, who has been in office since 2021 after replacing Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, expressed his views on the potential impacts of Mexican leadership on its economy and announced an upcoming media appearance.

On February 2, 2025, Rep. Gimenez posted a tweet expressing concern over the actions of Mexico's leadership: "The Communist President of #Mexico’s threats against the United States will destroy her own economy & create a financial crisis." He further predicted negative repercussions for the Mexican stock market and identified two major challenges facing Mexico: "the cartels & Claudia Sheinbaum."

In another tweet posted shortly thereafter on February 2, 2025, Rep. Gimenez reiterated his concerns in Spanish: "Las amenazas de la presidenta comunista de México destruirán la economía del país." He again highlighted what he perceives as threats to the Mexican people: "los narcos y Claudia Sheinbaum."

Later that day, on February 2, 2025, Rep. Gimenez announced his participation in a television program: "¡Estaré esta mañana en Al Punto Florida con Ambrosio Hernández por @Univision23!" Inviting viewers not to miss it.
