Ocean Studies Charter School recently issued the following announcement.
Swim Coach Jon Olsen and Ms. Martha took the Sea Stars and the Dolphins today for their swimming assessments and lessons - the first week of four for these labs.
All of our students go into the field every single week - most of the time being around, near, on top of or in the water - we use this beginning of year time to make sure we know every child's comfort and skill level! We also use this time to teach them techniques that will keep them safe around the water - something pretty important for our Keys Kids. Our youngest ones started out a great year of safe, engaging and scientific labs!
