City of Key West recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Key West is holding a Condemnation Hearing after Chief Building Official (CB0) Raj Ramsingh inspected the Santa Clara Condominiums and found the structure unsafe. The structure is located at 3312 Northside Drive and has been found to be in dilapidated, unsanitary, uninhabitable, or unsafe conditions.

At the hearing, the CBO will hear evidence and determine whether the property will be condemned and/or any other legal measures deemed appropriate. Since the Surfside Condo collapse just outside of Miami, the City has been working to ensure structures in Key West are safe.

To attend the meeting in person, you will be required to wear a mask or facial covering at all times.
