Create Your Trunk Decoration and REGISTER NOW to be part of the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Event

Islamorada

Village of Islamorada issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.

Islamorada, Village of Islands and Founders Park Staff invite you to participate in and attend the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Event on Saturday, October 23rd from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on the Great Lawn at Founders Park, 87000 Overseas Highway. Admission is free for this fun event for families and people of all ages.

Trunk or Treat is a fun, safe, family environment where Trunk or Treaters spend the evening going from trunk to trunk, collecting candy from volunteers who have decorated their vehicles to serve as a backdrop for this spooktacular event.

Enter the CAUTION ZONE if you dare and try the inflatable obstacle course. Capture a picture to share with your friends and family in the photo booth and enter the Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 costumes.

There will be activities for the kids, including a Kid’s Pumpkin Coloring Station sponsored by the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce.

Enjoy FREE hot dogs, chips and soft drinks sponsored by Islamorada Fire Department. Popcorn and Sno-Cones will be available for purchase with proceeds to benefit the Synchro Sirens Swim Club.

Trunk Participation Rules: family appropriate themes and must bring candy (sealed/wrapped).

Social distance and facial coverings will be strongly encouraged.

This program is open to the public. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all persons who are disabled and who need special accommodations to participate in this program because of that disability should contact the ADA Coordinator at ADA@islamorada.fl.us or 305-664-6448 at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
