City of Key West issued the following announcement on Nov. 16.
The holiday season is upon us, and the community has a plethora of ways to celebrate.
Wednesday, November 24th at 5 PM is the Lighting of the Harbor Walk of Lights at the Historic Seaport.
Monday, November 29th at 6 PM is the official Tree Lighting ceremony at Bayview Park. This ceremony will feature the Horace O’Bryant School Jazz Band, and culminate with the arrival of Santa.
Tuesday, November 30th at 5:30 PM is the Lighting of the Menorah Ceremony at Bayview Park with Rabbi Shimon Dudai and Rabbi Jacob Zucker
Saturday, December 4th at 7 PM is the City's Annual Holiday Parade. The Parade begins at Truman Avenue and White Street Intersection proceeds to Duval turning right on the famous street and ending at Eaton Street.
“It is so heartwarming to see the community coming back to normal,” said City Manager Patti McLauchlin. “These hometown traditions are part of what makes Key West magical.”
