A Health Care Navigator will be at the library 9 hours/week to help people enroll in Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace (Affordable Care Act/Obamacare). Call 877-553-7453 to schedule an appointment.
November 1 – January 15: Monday 10am-1pm, Wednesday 5pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-1pm
From questions on eligibility, exemptions and all things having to do with Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace, a healthcare navigator will help sign you up for the Marketplace and navigate the system.
Checklist of what you’ll need for enrollment
- information about you and your household, including income, any insurance you currently have and some additional items
- social security numbers (or document numbers for legal immigrants)
- Employer and income information (from pay stubs and W2 forms) for every member of your household who needs coverage
- Policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members of your household
