Boat Ramps at East Ridge and Blackwood Closed to Boat Launching during Holiday Weekends

The Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina Boat Ramp at Founders Park is Open Mile Marker 87 bayside

The public boat ramps at East Ridge Road and Blackwood Drive will be closed to boat launching from Friday late afternoon through Tuesday morning following the holiday. The barriers used to close the ramps to boats do allow access for kayaks and paddleboards. The Village Council agreed upon the closures of the residential neighborhood boat ramps beginning in 2021 to minimize negative impacts on Village residents during crowded holiday weekends.

The boat ramp at the Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina at Founders Park will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the holiday weekend. Non-resident fees are $20.00 each way ($40.00 round trip.) When the trailer parking lot is full, restrictions will apply.

Visitors are also encouraged to support the local economy by using private marina facilities.

Please be reminded that the water access point on Indian Key remains closed for repairs.
