Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 28th district, recently shared his concerns and opinions on various issues via social media posts. Gimenez, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, addressed topics ranging from human trafficking to international politics.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Gimenez highlighted the issue of human trafficking operations conducted by groups from Communist China along Florida's extensive border. He stated: "Florida’s border is over 8,000 miles & human trafficking rings from Communist China are conducting operations from the Bahamas to Miami." He mentioned showing Fox News' Danamariemctv the impact these activities have on local communities.

Later that day, he expressed support for former President Donald Trump's approach to Middle Eastern peace efforts. In his post, he declared: "President Trump will liberate Gaza from Hamas & create lasting peace in the Middle East! PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!"

In another post on February 6, 2025, Rep. Gimenez reported a significant increase in illegal migration from Communist China into Florida via the Bahamas and Caribbean regions. He stated: "We’ve seen an 8,000% increase in the number of migrants from Communist China invading Florida ILLEGALLY from the Bahamas & the Caribbean." He urged action against this situation by calling for the eviction of Chinese influences from Bahamian territories.
