Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, who represents Florida's 28th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets highlighting key issues and events. Gimenez, originally from Havana, Cuba, has been serving since 2021 after replacing Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.

On February 17, 2025, Gimenez expressed concerns about China's influence over global trade and commerce. He stated that "Communist #China poses a major threat to global trade & commerce — controlling over 80% of the market for strategic port cranes." He encouraged viewers to tune into Fox News for more information on efforts to combat this influence.

The following day, February 18, 2025, Gimenez attended an important event and shared his thoughts via Twitter. He stated that he was "Honored to attend the investiture of my dear friend & a true institution for justice in our community: State Attorney Katherine Fernández-Rundle!"

Later on February 18, he highlighted an initiative aimed at supporting families in his district. He tweeted about the involvement of his office at Le Jardín Community Center’s Early Head Start Program, noting it provides quality child care and education for local families: "Office of Congressman Carlos Giménez at Le Jardín Community Center’s Early Head Start Program providing quality child care & education for our #FL28 families!"
