On February 6, 2025, Rep. Gimenez expressed gratitude to supporters of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI), acknowledging their backing of the organization's bipartisan efforts. He tweeted: "Thank you all of our friends who continue to support the bipartisan work of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI)!"
The following day, on February 7, 2025, he announced an upcoming vote on the Protecting American Energy Production Act. Emphasizing a need to reduce energy prices and counter certain environmental policies, he stated: "NEWS —> We will be voting shortly for the Protecting American Energy Production Act. To lower prices, we must jumpstart energy production & put an end to the socialist Green New Deal agenda!"
