Gimenez honors constituents and celebrates achievements in recent tweets

Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 28th district since 2021, shared a series of tweets on February 7, 2025, highlighting various personal and professional milestones.

In his first tweet of the day, Rep. Gimenez expressed his respect and admiration for Mr. Frank P. Toppino, a WWII veteran from the Florida Keys community. He stated that he "took to the House Floor today to honor the memory" of Mr. Toppino, describing him as "a true institution in our Florida Keys community" who was beloved for his kindness and generosity. This message was posted on February 7, 2025.

Finally, Rep. Gimenez praised his wife Lourdes for her contributions as an educator and founding principal at Dr. Carlos J. Finlay Elementary School within their congressional district: "So proud of my wife Lourdes..." The acknowledgment came through a tweet made on February 7, 2025.
