Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 28th district, has been vocal on various issues through his recent social media posts. Known for his tenure in the U.S. Congress since 2021, Gimenez has shared his perspectives on international and domestic matters via Twitter.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Gimenez criticized Columbia University in a tweet: "Columbia University is a cesspool of hate, discrimination, & terrorists. These non-citizen foreign agents will immediately lose their visas & be returned to where they rightfully belong."

In another post from the same day, he addressed political imprisonment in Cuba: "Desde el Congreso de Estados Unidos, exigimos la liberación inmediata de Jorge Martín Perdomo y todos los presos políticos injustamente encarcelados en los calabozos de la dictadura asesina en #Cuba."

Later that day, he expressed agreement with Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. and President Donald Trump regarding policy enforcement: "Totally agree! Secretary @RobertKennedyJr and President @realDonaldTrump can put this enforcement on hold until @martyMakary is in office and conduct a comprehensive review to protect Americans & guarantee our constituents have access to the best prices!"
