CITY OF MARATHON: Threat Level For Coronavirus In Monroe County Is Considered To Be Low Risk

City of Marathon issued the following announcement on March 6

As concerns begin to mount in the United States about the potential spread of COVID-19 also known as Coronavirus, Bob Eadie, Administrator of Florida Department of Health in Monroe County, is asking Keys residents and visitors to remain calm and make sure they have information from a trusted resource. There are no Coronavirus cases being investigated in Monroe County. The threat level for Coronavirus in Monroe County is also considered to be low risk.

The most accurate information is at www.cdc.gov , including how it is spread, symptoms, and testing, protecting yourself, situations updates, information for travel, healthcare professionals, and more.
