Carlos A. Giménez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 28th District, has recently voiced his opinions via social media concerning Cuban affairs and his connection to his homeland. Giménez, born in Havana, Cuba, and living in Miami, has been serving in Congress since 2021. His background includes serving in the Florida House of Representatives and the Miami-Dade County Commission. Giménez is also a Barry University graduate, holding a Bachelor in Public Administration.

On April 17, 2025, Giménez addressed the issue of a "terrorist henchman" from the Cuban dictatorship through a tweet, posted at 00:01:42 UTC.

Later that day, at 14:21:55 UTC, Giménez posted a message affirming his remembrance of Cuba, stating, "WE WILL NEVER FORGET OUR HOMELAND ."

Shortly after, at 14:38:04 UTC, he posted another tweet, "NUNCA ABANDONAREMOS A NUESTRA PATRIA - BRIGADA DE ASALTO 2506," underscoring his unwavering commitment to Cuba and referencing the Brigade 2506, a key group in the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion.
