Representative Carlos A. Giménez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 28th district, shared several updates on social media on April 15, 2025. He expressed enthusiasm about his new appointment, addressed concerns regarding individuals associated with the Cuban regime, and agreed with another statement via his Twitter account.

On April 15, Giménez announced his appointment by Speaker Johnson to the Mexico-United States Interparliamentary Group. This new role involves collaborating with Mexican counterparts to confront significant bilateral issues. The representative stated, "I look forward to working with my counterparts in Mexico to address the critical issues facing our nations."

Later that day, Giménez appealed for public assistance in identifying individuals from Cuba who may have embedded themselves within the United States. He charged these individuals with exploiting American laws for retirement benefits, describing them as perpetrators of crimes against humanity. His tweet read, "Sigan ayudándome a identificar los represores de la dictadura de #Cuba que se han infiltrado en nuestro país."

In another brief tweet posted on the same day, Giménez affirmed his agreement with an undisclosed statement, simply stating, "Agreed! "

Carlos Giménez, who was born in Havana, Cuba in 1954, has represented Florida's 28th District in the U.S. Congress since 2021. Before his congressional role, he served in the Florida House of Representatives and the Miami-Dade County Commission. He pursued a Bachelor of Public Administration at Barry University, graduating in 1999.
