Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 28th district, has shared a series of tweets reflecting on recent political events and appointments. Gimenez, who replaced Debbie Mucarsel-Powell in 2021, expressed his support for key figures in the current administration.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Gimenez tweeted about his enthusiasm to assist President Trump with national endeavors: " It’s morning in America! Off to help President Trump make our nation Great Again!"

Later that day, he celebrated the swearing-in of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and emphasized its significance for the Cuban-American community: "Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be sworn-in this morning. Words cannot describe how immensely proud our Cuban-American community feels. One of our own will be implementing policy against the Communist dictatorships that forced our families from home. Only in America!"

In another tweet on January 21, 2025, Rep. Gimenez congratulated Ashley Moody on her new role as U.S. Senator from Florida: "Congratulations to our new U.S. Senator from the State of Florida, Ashley Moody! Officially sworn-in on the Senate floor today. Looking forward to continuing working together to protect the amazing people from our Sunshine State! "
