Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 28th district, shared several updates on February 13, 2025, via social media platform X. The posts covered topics ranging from media appearances to discussions on international issues and local collaborations.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Gimenez announced his upcoming appearance on CNN with Pamela Brown at 10:15 AM by stating: "NEWS —> I’ll be on @CNN with @PamelaBrownCNN at 10:15 AM! Tune in!"

Later that day, he expressed appreciation for Commissioner Jean Monestime and highlighted ongoing efforts to support Haiti. He wrote: "Always great speaking to my dear friend & colleague Commissioner Jean Monestime, who I had the incredible honor to serve with as Mayor of Miami-Dade County! There’s a long road ahead for #Haiti & I’m proud to count on his insights to identify opportunities to help the island."

In another post dated February 13, 2025, Rep. Gimenez addressed concerns about Venezuelan nationals involved in criminal activities linked to the Tren de Aragua gang while emphasizing the distinction between these individuals and law-abiding Venezuelan exiles. He stated: "All Tren de Aragua (TDA) criminals are from #Venezuela, but not all Venezuelans are in Tren De Aragua. Violent felons must be deported & we must find a solution for the law-abiding Venezuelan exiles who have fled Maduro’s murderous socialist dictatorship."
