Carlos Giménez, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 28th district, has recently expressed his views on various political issues through social media. Born in Havana, Cuba, and residing in Miami, Giménez has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.

On January 29, 2025, Giménez commented on the political situation in Honduras. He stated that "Zelaya ha tenido que cancelar la reunión, de los tiranos y dictadorzuelos de la región, debido a la presión del valiente pueblo hondureño que rechaza el castrochavismo que les están imponiendo." He further noted that "Los hondureños decentes atesoran la alianza con USA y se oponen a esta Presidenta."

Later that day, he addressed the situation in Cuba with a call for action against the Cuban government. On January 29, 2025, he tweeted: "#SOSCuba Exigimos que la dictadura asesina en #Cuba excarcele a todos los presos políticas injustamente detenidos en calabozos simplemente por hacer una denuncia o publicar lo que piensan en las redes. #PatriaYVida"

In another tweet on January 29, 2025, Giménez shared his involvement in supporting American soldiers. He mentioned: " Making @The_USO care packages for our soldiers with my wife Lourdes at the Republican Conference in Trump Doral! "
